Short sharp ride up to Hayfield and Shooting Cabins/Snake Path - managed to avoid chainsuck, crashing (just) and grouse (think I brushed its wing with my front tyre).
It was properly dark tonight - no moon, no stars and my lights felt underpowered (to the extent that it was luck not skill that got me down the descent dab/crash free) . Ride no. 2 with the Cateye Strada computer this time no data recorded at all! I’m assuming its due to Crud Catcher plus the extra Marzocchi mudguard (overkill yes, but grit free eyes was a revelation) that I fitted pre-ride blocking the signal between the computer and transmitter?!
