Wanted to get out for a longish 4 hour + ride today but my bike had other ideas…
Everything was fine-ish (only slight chainsuck) up until Kinder Low where the peat worked its magic and massive chainsuck ensued, although the bridleways have *started* to dry out its still a real mess up there. The quicker I build up the SS the better.
I also managed to tear a huge whole in the crotch of my Endura Humvees the reason is the crappy belt they come with unlike Endura’s Singletrack shorts the belt is removable (read Missing In Action) so the shorts slip and in the end rip and I strip! I’m thinking of just going just Lycra from now on, aesthetically frowned upon yes but I think a lot more more practical!
First ride with my Cateye Strada computer (in fact first ride with any computer!), quite impressed with it until it lost all data (apart from total distance) halfway through the ride?! Review of the Cateye Strada Wireless coming soon…
